Post Starting as a dj
I would also like to begin as a dj and start spinning dnb. I'm going 2 buy 2 synqs for 400€ and now I'm looking for a decent mixer, I was thinking of a nuo2 or a synq, because the others are too expensive.
What would you guys think?
Thank you for the help!

just save some money for decent decks, techniques
otherwise you'll regret it and sell your synqs
nuo 2 is a very good mixer!

Very thrue! I immediatly bought second hand technics and never regret it. All the friends i know that bougth synqs turntables, bought later on technics, so a little waste of money to have to switch after a year...

True.
I started with a complete JBSYSTEMS Equipment..
Sold the CDJ's & the turntables and now I got my Technics.
Should replace the mixer >.<.
But just buy the best equipment, you won't regret it :)

Synqs are not bad turntables at all. But the biggest problem with us having those synqs in the beginning was that we weren't used to spin on technics. This really gives problems when you have to play your first shows.

I should also go for 2nd hand technics if I was you.

Synq might be ok...but then again, Technics is the standard...
So as soon as you start getting bookings, most of the time a Technics will be there, so you will be better of buying Technics.

2nd that but then again, if you buy expensive technics in some impulsive mood you might spend a lot of money on something you will be doing for a few months. But if you're sure you're going to mix for several years than technics is the way to go..

Then you can sell them again. Technics don't lose that much value...

the startingpower of the motor on the synqs is way stronger then on the technics, but then the pitch control of the technics is way more stable!
i chose for the pitchcontrol (technics) and never regretted it!
plus as mentionned before, technics are a standart on most parties
